After my kitchen shelf failed, I created the support I couldn't find.
The cheap, easy fixes didn't solve it in a way I trusted.I wanted a stronger support that used the existing shelf holes without turning it into a full-on weekend repair project.

Why ordinary fixes weren't enough
Normal shelf pins are fine when they do the job. If pins alone have worked for you stick with those. This is for the harder cases.Standard metal pins that barely reach under the shelf. And larger, plastic supports often break or pop out under real weight. I needed something stronger that still used the holes I already had.
